Duration – 36 Weeks
Anyone planning to enter the accounting or payroll fields must have strong computer knowledge including competency navigating the associated software (Sage 50 and QuickBooks). The program fully prepares students for the National Payroll Institute (formerly The Canadian Payroll Association) Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, a widely recognized industry credential. The program also covers bookkeeping practices, administrative procedures and soft skills such as business writing and communication. Graduates will be qualified to work in the public or private sector in small or large organizations, where they will be able to manage business finances, process payroll, create and send invoices, record and analyze data, and more.
