Methods of Delivery
Integrated Learning™ System (ILS)
Course materials and instructions provide an all encompassing learning experience using multi-sensory learning styles and preferences through student workbooks, media presentations, and hands-on exercises. These learning styles are supported by an on-site qualified college facilitator. This learning style also applies to Academy of Learning’s Online ILS Hybrid courses.
Instructor-led
Lesson content is delivered to students in a live lecture format. These courses follow the traditional delivery of content by an instructor, based on daily standardized lesson plans that consist of approved curriculum. When using this method of delivery, the instructor presents lessons on the course topics; administers quizzes, tests, assignments, and exams; monitors student progress and attendance; and addresses students’ questions, issues, and concerns.
Online Courses Supported by an Online Instructor (or qualified College Facilitator)
Students work independently using a comprehensive online component. This component incorporates online lectures that combine with flexible access to instructional materials, simulated labs, exercises, as well as quizzes, review questions, or pre and post tests. In this delivery method, students are supported by a qualified online instructor or an on-site qualified college facilitator.
Home Inspection courses supported by an off-site Instructor
Students are provided with course content that includes all of the required courseware, and are supported by a live technical instructor during regular business hours. Students have access to an instructor via e-mail outside of regular business hours.
