I was very apprehensive about going back to school at my age as I had been a stay-at-home mom for many years. It was time for me to finally do something for myself, and it was now or never.
I knew I needed to upgrade my skills in order to get a job, but I didn’t want just any job: I wanted a professional career. I chose Academy of Learning Career College because it was the best fit for me. AOLCC was accommodating to me and my needs, as my role as a wife and mom were still very important to me. I decided that the Medical Office Administration Program was the perfect choice for me. It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make but it turned out to be the best decision. I have learned so much and can’t wait to use the knowledge I have gained.
I would like to thank everyone at Academy of Learning Career College for their support and guidance and making my experience an enjoyable one. I would like to thank Hayley, my mentor, for keeping me motivated and wanting to see me succeed. There were many times I didn’t think I could do it, but with the support and encouragement of my family, friends and especially Hayley, I did it!
